A passionate, independent, and self-motivated Creative Media Postgraduate at the City University of Hong Kong (CityU). I had my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from CityU. As a versatile computer and art lover who is willing to learn and adapt to new challenges, I am driven about my work. I believe combining arts and technology is a life-changing sector. With how technology affects our lives, aesthetic design presents ideas in an accepted and helpful manner to humans. On this website, you’ll discover some of the most changeling and intimate projects I’ve been researching on.
I am desperate to be one of the contributors to the Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) sector. Currently, my research interests include Virtual Reality (VR) techniques on usability and entertainment, artistic-technology solutions, and Human-AI collaboration.

As Christie understands the job duties of each employee, she is an excellent trainer. She is also very detail-oriented and can aptly manage foreseen challenges. She also performed fair to organise the priority and task requirement so as to finish all the jobs I sent on time. She has a strong motivation and passion in the technology field.
I appreciate her attitude towards study and good quality of getting along with classmates and teachers. She was an active participant in tutorial discussions and expressed her questions bravely, leaving me very deep impression. Whereas she has clear goal in her study, her enthusiasm paves her never ran away from difficulties in work. She always tried to solve the problem with optimistic attitude.
During the projects, I found her as a consistently hardworking youngster, tackling all her tasks with dedication and a contagious optimism. In the project on designing a narrative-based tool for live streaming chat moderation, she was responsible for the arts and narrative design. I was quite impressed by her art and creativity as a computer science student. She was able to contribute very creative ideas in the project meetings.
Christie shows her capacity for deep analysis through frequent discussion about the concept taught in class and how we would connect them to practical discussions about latest technology advancement. She is a very diligent student and will work hard to strive for excellence.Christie had completed high quality works in her projects by proposing novel ideas.
As a faculty member of Department of Computer Science, City University of Hong Kong, I take pleasure in writing this letter to recommend Ms. Christie Pang. I knew Ms. Pang when she enrolled in my course CS3483 Multimodal Interface Design in year 3 of her studies. She finally received a grade of A in this course.
Christie has participated in a series of workshops to learn more about the daily lives and culture of the ethnic minority groups in Hong Kong... and to equip with the necessary knowledge and skills for being a competent workshop facilitator, particularly with the use of Virtual Reality (VR) applications and technologies. She was able to apply what she has learnt from the training, and served as a facilitator in the outreach programmes at schools and community centers.
